New projects are set to be implemented in Russia's Primorsky Krai to improve educational conditions for the children of labor migrants from Uzbekistan. This was agreed upon during a meeting between the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, Khojiakbar Vakhobov, and the Minister of Education of Primorsky Krai, Elvira Shamonova.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to jointly organize special classes and preschool preparation courses for the children of Uzbek migrants arriving in the region. This initiative is aimed at facilitating the children's adaptation to the educational process.
The parties also agreed to resume the practice of sending schoolchildren to children's health camps during the summer holidays as part of mutual cooperation, starting from 2027. It is intended that this exchange will be carried out on an equal basis.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached to establish direct cooperation between the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of Primorsky Krai.
