The Center for Social and Cultural Adaptation in the city of Yakutsk is providing an opportunity for foreign citizens and their children to learn the Russian language. This is especially important for foreign children who will be admitted to school starting in 2025, as they will be required to pass a test on their level of Russian language proficiency.
The center has organized free 36-hour training courses for adults and children over the age of 6.5. Classes for adults are held in separate groups for men and women. There is also a remote (online) learning format available for those who are unable to visit the center in person.
Although the courses are not aimed at preparing for the test, they help develop Russian language comprehension skills, expand vocabulary, and improve the ability to communicate freely on everyday topics. Classes are held at the following address: Yakutsk, Okruzhnoye Shosse, 10/1, 2nd floor of the "Olyokma" shopping center.
