According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens arriving in the country are required to submit documents for a patent within the established timeframe. Specifically, a person who entered Russia on August 15 was required to apply to the relevant authorities before the 30-day period expired, i.e., by September 15.
If this deadline has been missed, submitting documents to the migration center on September 25 is considered a violation of legal requirements. Missing the deadline results in administrative liability.
In accordance with Article 18.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (KoAP RF), a fine of 10,000 to 15,000 rubles is imposed for violating the patent processing deadline. Migrants are advised to strictly adhere to the established deadlines to maintain their legal status.
