Specialists from the Center for Social and Cultural Adaptation of Foreign Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a special seminar for employees of the Kazan-based company "Techmet." The main goal of the event was to provide migrants with guidance on Russian legislation and essential aspects of daily life.
During the seminar, special emphasis was placed on migration legislation. In particular, foreign workers were explained the procedures for obtaining patents and permits, as well as the consequences of violating regulations. Experts detailed the differences between administrative and criminal liability and ways to avoid fines and the risk of deportation.
Furthermore, participants were provided with information on how to navigate the Russian healthcare system, register with polyclinics, and use compulsory medical insurance (OMS) policies. For parents, the discussion covered the procedures for enrolling children in kindergartens and schools, as well as opportunities for learning the Russian language.
Representatives of the center provided migrants with contacts for psychological and legal services that can offer assistance in difficult situations. Such meetings help foreign professionals adapt more quickly to their new environment, improve their legal literacy in the workplace, and feel more confident in their social lives.
