The Magadan Regional Duma has approved the regional coefficient used to calculate the cost of labor patents for 2027. According to the decision adopted by the deputies, the coefficient was maintained at the 2026 level of 3.7.
This coefficient serves as the basis for calculating the fixed advance payment for income tax, which is paid monthly by foreign citizens. Although the regional coefficient has remained unchanged, the payment amount for the patent will increase in 2027 due to changes in other components of the calculation system.
In 2027, the monthly patent payment for foreigners working in the Magadan region will be as follows: - 13,320 rubles for those working for legal entities; - 18,870 rubles for those working for individuals.
For reference, patent fees have been gradually increasing in recent years: in 2024, the amount was 8,640 rubles; in 2025, it was 10,583 rubles; and in 2026, it amounted to 12,618.5 rubles.
According to the data from the Russian Interior Ministry's Department for the Magadan Region, the number of labor migrants arriving in the region is increasing. Specifically, in the first eight months of 2026, 7,966 patents were issued to foreign citizens, which is 22.4 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
