Labor migrants working in Russia are increasingly required to provide an income statement or a 3-NDFL form by banking institutions, government bodies, and during legal proceedings. This document is essential for obtaining loans, securing mortgages, applying for visas, utilizing tax benefits, and verifying financial status in court disputes.
Income statements can be obtained electronically via the official website of the Federal Tax Service (FNS) of Russia or the 'Gosuslugi' portal. The system automatically reflects income data received from all employers.
The 'Gosuslugi' portal allows users to download statements for the last 3 years, while the FNS website provides access for the last 5 years. If an individual has worked for multiple organizations within a year, a separate statement is generated for each employer.
The statement is prepared shortly after the request is submitted. Users can select the required period (from 1 month to 5 years). It is recommended to keep in mind that banks typically request income reports for the last few months or for a period of 2-3 years.
