Employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg provided assistance to our compatriot who found himself in a difficult situation. Citizen A.D., a native of the Tashkent region, arrived in the Sverdlovsk region in January 2026 to engage in labor activities.
In July of this year, our compatriot suffered a serious spinal injury as a result of a fall at his place of residence. Due to a lack of funds, he was unable to receive the necessary medical care and lost the ability to work. In addition, his identity documents had become unusable.
After the citizen appealed to the Consulate General on September 8, diplomats studied the situation. As a result, a certificate for return to Uzbekistan was issued to him, and an airline ticket for the "Yekaterinburg–Tashkent" route was purchased using funds from the Migration Agency's foundation.
On September 11, our compatriot safely returned to Uzbekistan under the supervision of employees of the Consulate General and the Migration Agency.
