Those traveling to Russia for work can process documents in Uzbekistan

The head of the External Labor Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, Behzod Musayev, put forward new proposals aimed at creating conveniences for labor migrants during a meeting with Russian officials in Moscow. This initiative is intended to save time for citizens traveling to Russia for work and reduce the burden on migration centers.

According to the proposed changes, it will be possible to check for entry bans and conduct preliminary document verification before a citizen departs for Russia. This will allow migrants to prepare in advance and avoid unexpected problems upon arrival in Russia.

Furthermore, issues such as eliminating the need to re-submit previously provided documents during the patent issuance or renewal process, as well as transitioning certain procedures to a fully digital format, are being considered. Agency representatives noted that these measures are expected to significantly reduce the number of visits by Uzbek migrants to migration centers in Russia.
