Losing a passport, SNILS, work patent, or migration card in Russia can lead to serious consequences, including fines and deportation. In such a situation, it is necessary to take immediate steps to restore the documents.
To restore a SNILS number, you can contact the 'Gosuslugi' portal, your employer, or multifunctional centers (MFC). Currently, a physical card is not issued; data is stored electronically, and the service is provided free of charge. If passport details change, the information in the SNILS must also be updated.
If you lose your national passport, you must first file a report with the police and obtain a certificate. After that, you should contact the consular offices of Uzbekistan in Russia. The consulate will resolve the issue of restoring the passport or issuing a certificate for return to your homeland. A police certificate confirming the loss of the passport protects against fines.
If you lose your work patent, you must apply to 'Gosuslugi' or the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to obtain a duplicate. The state fee for a duplicate is 2,100 rubles. An important rule: the application must be submitted before the expiration of the paid patent period; otherwise, the patent will be canceled.
To restore a migration card, you need to obtain a loss certificate from the police and go to the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at your place of residence. There, fingerprints will be taken, and a duplicate will be issued. Once the document is restored, re-registration (notification) at the place of residence is required.
