Addresses of 41 foreigners with fake registration identified in Russia: property owner punished

In the city of Chelyabinsk, law enforcement agencies uncovered a case involving the organization of illegal migration. According to the investigation, a local resident used one of his five residential properties to fictitiously register foreign citizens for migration purposes.

As a result of the investigation conducted by officers of the Leninsky Police Department of the Russian Interior Ministry in Chelyabinsk, 41 criminal episodes involving this individual were identified. A criminal case was initiated under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and investigative actions were carried out.

According to the decision of the Leninsky District Court, the defendant was sentenced to a fine of 500,000 rubles. Furthermore, by court order, the apartment used for the fictitious registration of foreigners, valued at 4 million 841 thousand rubles, was confiscated for the benefit of the state.

This case demonstrates that violations of migration legislation, particularly fictitious registration, lead to serious legal consequences. Law enforcement agencies report that they have strengthened control over the detection and prevention of offenses in the field of migration.
