Changes have been made to the medical examination procedure for children of foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation. Starting September 1, it has been established that all foreign children over the age of 6 must undergo a medical examination within 30 days of entering the country.
It is recommended to book an appointment in advance for the medical examination. Booking through the "Gosuslugi" portal is considered more convenient, as free slots for Russian citizens are found faster in the system. Therefore, it is advisable to ask the property owner for assistance in booking.
Regarding migration registration, the procedure for minors has not changed: as before, they must visit the internal affairs department (OMVD) together with the property owner to register in paper form. The "Amina" application does not apply to children.
Furthermore, parents are required to extend their children's registration period based on their own work patents and have the relevant stamps placed on their migration cards. This process is essential for maintaining legal status in the country.
