Patent application procedures for Uzbek citizens working in Rostov may be simplified

During the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Russia's Rostov region, key issues in the field of labor migration were discussed. In particular, special attention was paid to protecting the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens working in the region, as well as simplifying the procedures for issuing labor patents.

Following the meetings, an agreement was reached to hold a separate working session with the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Rostov region. At this meeting, it is planned to develop mechanisms to facilitate the patent application process for Uzbek labor migrants.

Furthermore, the delegation representatives held negotiations with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Rostov region. The parties agreed to organize joint monitoring visits to enterprises and facilities where migrants are employed. These measures will serve to ensure compliance with labor laws regarding our compatriots and provide them with legal assistance.

During the trip, a meeting was also organized with Uzbek citizens working at one of the regional enterprises. At the meeting, our compatriots received explanations and practical recommendations regarding migration legislation and consular-legal protection.
