Questions have arisen regarding the medical examination procedure for foreign citizens holding a temporary residence permit (RVP) or a residence permit (VNJ) in Russia. The Russian Interior Ministry has provided an official clarification on this matter.
According to the ministry, foreign citizens holding RVP or VNJ documents are not required to undergo medical examinations annually. This procedure is carried out only once during the process of preparing and submitting documents.
Thus, migrants holding the aforementioned permits are exempt from the obligation to undergo repeat medical examinations every year. This rule remains in effect for the entire validity period of the documents.
