The Investigative Department of the Russian Interior Ministry for the city of Krasnoyarsk is investigating criminal cases regarding the organization of illegal migration. According to the investigation, between July 2025 and July 2026, 6 local residents were involved in the legalization of foreign citizens.
The criminal group was led by a hostel director and a company founder. They registered migrants for temporary residence permits (RVP) without actually housing them in the hostel. In addition, other members of the group were involved in preparing fake employment contracts and acting as intermediaries to obtain work patents.
For these services, the suspects charged foreign citizens between 8,000 and 15,000 rubles. Currently, investigative actions are being carried out against these individuals regarding at least 10 criminal episodes. The investigation is ongoing within the framework of a criminal case initiated under Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
We remind you that documents obtained through forged papers or fictitious registration can negatively affect the status of migrants in Russia in the future and lead to legal problems.
