According to the Russian Interior Ministry, an illegal migration channel was operating under the guise of a clothing showroom located in one of Moscow's shopping centers. As a result of operational measures carried out by law enforcement agencies, 3 individuals from Central Asian and Transcaucasian republics who organized this scheme were arrested.
Using a network of more than 100 controlled legal entities, the criminals prepared fake employment contracts and medical records for foreign citizens. They also provided services to supply clients with housing and the transport necessary for work. Through this illegal system, several thousand foreign citizens entered Russian territory.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Currently, two of the suspects have been remanded in custody, and one has been placed under house arrest. Investigative bodies are continuing measures to identify all individuals who entered the country through this scheme and are living in violation of migration laws, as well as to hold them accountable.
This situation serves as an important warning for migrants: using fake documents or the services of illegal intermediaries can lead to serious legal consequences under Russian law. It is recommended to use only legal and official channels when processing any migration documents.
