The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Tatarstan, the migration service, and the Center for Adaptation of Foreign Citizens have approved a unified algorithm for working with foreign students enrolled in educational institutions. This initiative is aimed at regulating the educational process for foreigners in schools and universities.
During the meeting, the rules for admitting foreign citizens to educational organizations and the list of required documents were reviewed. Issues regarding the organization of language learning and the social adaptation of migrant students were also discussed.
Officials analyzed common difficulties encountered when working with foreign students in educational institutions and ways to overcome them. The meeting was attended by heads of district education departments, directors of educational institutions, and representatives of the Migration Department of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Republic of Tatarstan.
It is expected that this new procedure will facilitate the education process for foreign students and prevent misunderstandings during document processing. Students and their parents are advised to obtain accurate information about the list of documents required for admission from the administration of the institution where they are studying or applying.
