A seminar on legal literacy for foreigners was held in Tatarstan

Representatives of the Center for Social and Cultural Adaptation of Foreign Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan organized another outreach lecture for labor migrants in the Muslyumovsky district. During the event, foreign citizens living and working in the district were briefed on the fundamental requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The meeting program covered three main areas. First, information was provided on migration registration, extending the period of temporary stay, and the consequences of violating rules, including deportation and entry bans. Second, issues related to obtaining patents and work permits, concluding labor contracts, and complying with tax laws were discussed.

Special attention was also paid to the prevention of extremism and terrorism. Experts explained what types of information on social media could be considered illegal and reminded participants of the need to report suspicious offers to law enforcement agencies.

Representatives of the Center emphasized that such events are held regularly across all regions of the republic, including remote rural areas. The goal is to increase the legal literacy of foreign citizens and facilitate their integration into the local community.

At the end of the lecture, participants received answers to their questions. For those facing complex legal situations, the specialists also organized individual consultations.
