An unusual conflict has erupted in the Milas district of Turkey's Mugla province following a lavish wedding. It is reported that after three days of wedding celebrations, the bride disappeared, taking with her gold and jewelry estimated to be worth 4–5 million liras.
The groom's relatives, noticing the absence of the bride and the gold, contacted law enforcement agencies. As part of the investigation, the bride, an Uzbek citizen, was detained, but she stated that she does not consider herself guilty.
According to the bride, she went to her mother's house, taking only 20 quarter-gold coins and 226,000 liras with her. Despite a search conducted at her residence, the other valuables claimed to be missing were not found.
Currently, the whereabouts of the gold and jewelry, estimated at 4–5 million liras, remain unknown. Investigative actions regarding the incident are ongoing.
