A 51-year-old citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic applied to the 'Genichesky' department of the Russian Interior Ministry in the Kherson region to obtain a passport of the Russian Federation. At the beginning of 2025, the individual signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense to participate in the special military operation.
The citizenship acquisition process was carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia No. 10 dated January 4, 2024. This document allows foreigners who have signed a military service contract with the Russian Armed Forces, as well as their family members, to obtain citizenship through a simplified procedure.
As the serviceman is performing combat duties in the Kherson direction, migration department staff processed the documents in a short period of time. The passport was presented to the serviceman after he took the oath of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
Upon completion of the formalities, the serviceman expressed his gratitude to the staff for the prompt preparation of the documents and returned to his military unit.
