8 migrants detained in Krasnoyarsk for legal violations

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Center for Combating Extremism conducted a raid to monitor compliance with migration legislation. The inspections were carried out at a wholesale distribution center, catering outlets, and construction sites in the city.
During the raid, more than 30 foreign citizens were checked. Violations of migration laws were identified in 8 of them. These individuals were taken to the police station, where administrative protocols were drawn up against them.
In total, 18 administrative offenses were recorded, mainly related to illegal stay in the Russian Federation and carrying out labor activities in violation of the established procedure. All offenders were fined, and a decision was made to deport 2 foreign citizens from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Currently, police officers are continuing additional measures to identify and hold accountable those who illegally hired foreign citizens and provided them with housing.
