On September 10, law enforcement agencies conducted raids at hostels located in the "Kommunarka-1" gardening partnership in Moscow. As a result of the inspections, 32 foreign citizens were taken to the police station, including 7 citizens of Uzbekistan.
Regarding this incident, representatives of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia and the Agency for External Labor Migration in Moscow visited the "Kommunarsky" police station to assess the situation. As a result of the negotiations, 6 of the detained Uzbek citizens were released.
During the inspections, it was determined that one more citizen had violated migration legislation requirements. Consequently, a decision was made in accordance with established procedures to expel this individual from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Furthermore, reports circulating on social media claiming that one of the citizens had died at the police station were investigated. According to official information, this report has not been confirmed and is not true.
