32 migrants deported from Novosibirsk in one week

A representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk Region presented a weekly report on the migration situation in the region at a meeting held on November 2. According to the report, 32 foreign citizens were forcibly expelled from the region within one week.

During the reporting period, 6,795 foreigners entered the region, while 9,496 left. As part of preventive measures carried out by police officers, five residential premises and four enterprises were inspected, and 155 cases of violations of migration legislation were identified.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the first nine months of 2026, administrative expulsion decisions were made against a total of 1,908 foreign citizens. Of these, 1,832 were expelled forcibly and under supervision, while 76 left voluntarily. Currently, more than 90 people are waiting for deportation at the temporary detention center for foreign citizens.

Compliance with migration legislation, particularly the timely payment of patents and monitoring of document expiration dates, is of great importance for migrants. Officials remind that migration control in the region has been strengthened and inspections will continue.
