It was established that a resident of the village of Yemelyanovo in the Krasnoyarsk Territory used her two-story house for the fictitious registration of foreign citizens. According to the prosecutor's office, starting from the spring of 2025, the woman registered foreigners at her address for a fee of 1,500 rubles per person.
Over the course of more than a year, the woman registered about 800 foreigners at this address through the MFC and the 'Gosuslugi' portal. However, during inspections, it turned out that the registered individuals had never actually moved into the house and had not received keys. They admitted that they had only seen the house from the outside.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident, and the court found the woman guilty of fictitious registration of foreign citizens. As a result, she was fined 200,000 rubles.
Furthermore, by court order, the two-story wooden house valued at over 8 million rubles and the associated land plot were confiscated for the benefit of the state. This case highlights the importance of having a genuine residential address for foreign migrants and the risks associated with fraudulent documents.
