Irina Yarovaya announces results of migration control in Russia

Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov published a statement by Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya on his Telegram channel.

The statement presents the results of systemic laws and mechanisms adopted by the "United Russia" party to regulate migration policy. According to key indicators, following the introduction of a system to monitor language proficiency and verify the legality of stay in the country, 100,000 minors have left Russia, leading to a 25 percent reduction in the number of foreign children in schools, with 40 percent of minors failing to pass tests conducted this year.

At the same time, thanks to the "digital profile" system implemented at the border, 200,000 migrants who did not have the right to enter were stopped. As a result of tightened requirements for obtaining citizenship, 4,500 people have been stripped of their Russian citizenship, and based on party decisions, measures are being taken in 56 regions of the country to prohibit the employment of migrants in certain professions. Against the backdrop of this complex of measures, it was reported that the number of offenses in the country has decreased by 40 percent.

In her speech, Irina Yarovaya emphasized that these transparent procedures and the system of excluding individuals deemed undesirable for stay in the Russian Federation are aimed at ensuring public safety, noting "United Russia" as a party that demonstrates practical action.
