As of now, 96.95% of the votes have been counted, and according to preliminary results, five parties are entering the parliament: "Yedinaya Rossiya" (57.83%), KPRF (13.76%), LDPR (9.01%), "Novyye lyudi" (7.96%), and "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (5%). The "Yedinaya Rossiya" party is expected to secure a constitutional majority.
The Central Election Commission of Russia plans to officially announce the final election results no later than September 25. For migrants, these political changes necessitate monitoring new laws and labor market regulations that will be adopted in the future.
